WOUND CARE

At ProHealthcare, our nurses and physicians are certified in wound care and have in-depth experience from their years of practice in the industry. We specialize in treating acute and chronic non-healing wounds. We work with the best equipment, and we stay up to date with the latest research, procedure, and technology in the assessment and treatment of wounds.

Total Contact Casting: This is an essential but highly specialized technique used in the treatment of wounds. Performed only by experts in the field, this procedure off-loads injuries in record time.

Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT): This approach is another highly specialized and technical wound care modality we use to speed up the healing of deep wounds. We perform NPWT on both inpatient and outpatient purposes.

Pulsed Lavage: We use this approach to removes surface contaminants within the safe range of 4-15 PSI to stimulate the formation of new granulation tissue without harming the existing granulation. The procedure is comfortable and painless, and our physical therapist is licensed to carry out this procedure.

Burn Care: We attend to burns and have specific ways of taking care of burn wounds to effectively heal in record time.

Compression Therapy: Our compression therapy includes specialized therapies like specialty wraps, lymphatic massage, and compression pumps.

Sharp Debridement: In situations like this, we take the best approach to enhance healing by removing non-viable tissue from the wound.
